Mission Statement
ChroniKids is dedicated to improving the quality of life for chronically ill children by providing education, resources, and compassionate support, while bridging the gap between underserved communities and the care they deserve.
The Problem
Millions of children with chronic illnesses face medical challenges and limited access to resources, education, and emotional support. UCLA Health estimates nearly 25 million youth ages 5–25 live with chronic conditions or functional limitations. Gaps in transitioning from pediatric to adult care can lead to treatment disengagement and worsening health. We must support these youth throughout their healthcare journey.
